UPDATED September 1st 2021
The announcement by Taoiseach Micheál Martin was welcomed by all the Lime Tree Theatre|Belltable staff yesterday with a sense of great relief. From the 6th September we are in a position to increase our capacity to 60% in both venues. This means Lime Tree Theatre will increase from 50 to 306 and Belltable will increase from 50 to 132.
There is an exception to the capacity numbers for our Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival opening on October 3rd and running until October 16th:
As part of COVID19 government guidelines for indoor gatherings all audiences with children are categorised as ‘mixed immunity’. This means that the capacity for all Bualadh Bos events is limited to 50, with 2m social distancing. No vaccination certs are required.
If attending a performance outside of the Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival in either venue there are four important points to keep in mind. As we move to this new phase of re-opening and to ensure our staff, art workers and audiences continue to feel safe within our venues, we ask patrons the following:
-Masks must continue to be worn while in our venues and during the event.
-We will also require patrons to present their Digital Covid Certificates on arrival to the venue.
-Patrons under 18 years are not exempt and will also need to present their Digital Covid Certificate on arrival.
–Under 13 years are exempt.
We will continue to follow government guidelines and over the coming weeks we will update our website and our social media channels on a regular basis. Alternatively contact our box office team with any queries on firstname.lastname@example.org.
