Accordionist Luciano Biondini and sitar player Klaus Falschlunger are among those musicians who always looking for a meeting point of different musical traditions and styles. In their new program, Once In A Blue Moon, the two artists are exploring the possibilities to shift the boundaries and find a mix between Indian music, jazz, pop and folk music filled with poetry, energy and fine humour.

This is their very first visit to Ireland and we want to give them a céad míle fáilte so come along and support these wonderful musicians.

The Paul Jost Quartet was selected by the U.S. State Department to represent the United States as part of the America Music Abroad program touring overseas. As one critic wrote in All About Jazz, “they are musical minds in perfect harmony.” Paul Jost (Vocal, Arranger, Harmonica) has been a guest artist with Orrin Evans, Joe Locke, Dena Derose and Janis Siegel. Jim Ridl (Piano), Dean Johnson (Bass), Tim Horner (Drums) have performed worldwide with Pat Martino, Joe Locke, Dave Liebman, Mingus Big Band, Randy Brecker, Joe Lovano, Dave Douglas, Wynton Marsalis, Vic Juris, The Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra, Mark Murphy and John Scofield.

Together they can be found connecting with audiences from New York to Los Angeles and at festivals throughout the world. It is a long awaited return for this gifted musician who performed at this venue in 2016 so don’t be disappointed and book early to witness this world class quartet in action.
