Paddy Cahill was a talented filmmaker and documentarian making films on architecture, art and urbanism.

Limerick Cycling Campaign will showcase Paddy’s work and celebrate his advocacy by showing a collection of his short films on urban cycling in Dublin and Amsterdam along with input on the night from friends and collaborators.

Paddy Cahill’s work documents an evolving discussion on Irish urbanism from historic modernist architecture to designing for sustainable vibrant city living.

A dedicated cycling advocate, Paddy Cahill grew up near Shannon, Co. Clare, studied in Limerick before travelling the world and settling in Dublin. Paddy passionately believed that cities should be beautiful, safe places for residents of all ages, backgrounds and income levels.

Paddy Cahill passed away in April 2021.
