Songs of the Pavee is a unique concert curated by Thomas McCarthy, the music artist who was the focus of last year’s RTE documentary, Songs of the Open Road.

Songs of the Pavee is a unique concert curated by Thomas McCarthy, the music artist who was the focus of last year’s RTE documentary, Songs of the Open Road.
This concert features some of the finest music artists from the folk tradition when Trish Reilly, WILLZEE and young Rosie McCarthy Join Thomas McCarthy on stagein Belltable. Followers of contemporary folk and rap can look forward to a night of song that bridges styles from the very traditional Traveller heritage from Thomas McCarthy to the cutting edge contemporary work of Limerick’s own WILLZEE with Trish Reilly performing some of her own work, carrying a distinctive 70s influence and the rising young star Rosie McCarthy performing some all time favourites from the Traveller folk repetoire.
