Are you aged between 18 and 25 and interested in getting experience in artistic programming and planning? Would you like to work with Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable to select an exciting programme of events across any artform from theatre, music, and dance to film and visual arts?
This is your opportunity to put your stamp on a programme of events, and to work with venue managers and fellow Curators to create an exciting programme for young audiences in Limerick.
You’ll also gain invaluable experience at the heart of the Irish arts industry and make connections with artists, promoters, theatre makers, and musicians across the country.
Building on two years of exciting work by brilliant young people, this year sees the programme extend from June 2023 to June 2024, allowing time for research and development in 2023 before confirming your festival programme to present at Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable in June 2024.
Selected Curators are provided with mentoring, regular catch-ups and guidance across a number of areas including marketing, budgeting, and time-management. There will also be a number of joint sessions connecting Curators from all 8 venues in the NASC Network, and opportunities to attend industry events such as Galway International Arts Festival and Dublin Fringe Festival.
There will be a number of network wide meet-ups both in person and online and mentoring sessions for each set of curators. The mentor will be appointed by NASC, and curators will be supported by one or more venue liaison(s).
