Mission:
Polish Arts Festival (PAF) is a professional organisation embedded in the community that integrates & promotes Polish & Irish artists through collaboration with stakeholders, partners and venues. We strongly believe in social inclusion, diversity, integration & mutual understanding through Arts. We create a platform for innovative and creative approaches. We strive to engage the community through involvement in culture and to empower their individual and group potential. We create a hub for experimentation and collaboration on various levels. We are a bilingual festival (Polish/English).
Vision:
“To Challenge, Optimise and Showcase through our Arts Festival the outstanding potential of artistic capabilities that exists within Polish and Irish Communities & Artists.”
Our annual multidisciplinary festival is the highlight of our year, where we celebrate diverse Polish and Irish artists and audiences. The festival is a curated programme of high quality, engaging, provoking work from artists connected with Poland and/or Ireland. It offers a range of events including visual art exhibitions, theatre, music concerts, dance, film, literature, street performance, workshops with PAF Kids Day at the heart of it.
We invite our audience to galleries, museums, theatres, cultural hubs and outdoor spaces and we also bring the festival to children’s classrooms via outreach projects we curate throughout the year.
We work with the local diverse communities (Polish, Ukrainian) and via projects we showcase the talent that lies in the community. The festival brings new audiences to the venues that they might have never visited before. We create a safe space for experimentation and unique meeting of diverse cultures. We cherish collaboration and we share our passion for arts and free creation with no prejudice or labels.
We strive to engage with our audiences in a meaningful way and give them a unique opportunity to experience diverse artists’ visions of the world and be part of the creation and experience.
We strive to be an exciting and inspiring festival that offers the best of Poland and Ireland in a bilingual way.
