FUTURE LIMERICK: Student Artist Call Out
Sunday’s Child and Lime Tree | Belltable are hosting the FUTURE LIMERICK: Climate Arts Festival from 16th to 22nd May in Limerick. As part of the festival we want to unveil 3 student artworks to be enjoyed by the community. The proposal is to explore recycling and reuse through public art installations.
The Brief:
Propose a public artwork installation that explores the theme of re-use and re-cycling within the context of the climate crisis. Key considerations to be addressed in submission:
- How the artwork will make use of recycled/ upcycled materials
- How the artwork will interact with the public
- How the prize money will be used to fund the proposal .
The submission: 2x A3 sides (max size 5Mb) 500 words outlining the proposal. The 3 selected projects will receive €300 towards their installation.
